In the second lecture in our series on indexes of the biology of functions we discuss classical and new indexes of the thyrotropic axis. Upon completion of this webinar, the endobiogenist will be able to better evaluate and treat spasmophilia, anxiety, insomnia, allergies, autoimmunity, osteoporosis, infertility, oligomenorrhea and more.
The thyrotropic axis involves more than the thyroid gland, and is implicated in more than metabolic rate. Thus, it goes far beyond measurement of TSH, fT4 and fT3. The axis is primarily catabolic but also pro-anabolic. It plays a role in basal and adaptive metabolism, but also the creative and emotional intensity of adaptation and perception of events in general. It is at the heart of numerous dialectics: chaos vs. order, perceptions vs. reality, adaptation vs. relaxation, proliferation vs. expansion, etc. Understanding the indexes of this axis opens a window onto the fundamental reality of Life.
