Did you know that the country of Tunisia has one of the oldest and most wide-spread training programs in Endobiogeny? It started in the 1990’s with the the teachings of Drs. Duraffourd and Lapraz. Our Tunisian colleagues, SBRG and Phyto2000 have teamed up to start a new phase of work together in this new century.
SBRG has presented twice this year in Tunisia. The first was at the 3rd annual congress of Endobiogeny. In May, Drs Lapraz and Hedayat spoke about dermatologic disorders and unveiled the new GEMMA functional lab evaluation system to the world! It was a three hour tour de force, very well received by an audience of over 250 doctors and pharmacists.
This month, October 2022, we participated in the 50th anniversary celebrations of Dr. Duraffourd’s teachings. Across three cities in three days, we presented on Endobiogeny and did deep dives into case studies with our University partners in Tunis, Monastir and Sfax. I was greeted by intelligent, enthusiastic colleagues in every city.
Our special gratitude goes to the endobiogeny association ATPM and all the university and Ministry of Health support we received. Special thanks to Professor Rachid Chemli and Samia Karaborni Yahyaoui for organizing the entire two-week exploration of Endobiogeny and the legacy of Dr. Duraffourd. And, a special thanks to our colleague Dr. Mourad Ketata for his great organizational skills and hospitality in Sfax.
We are looking forward to an international congress of Endobiogeny in Tunisia soon! We hope you can join us there!
